The Rise Youth Conference was initiated by the Hispanic Association of Free Will Baptists. The Association saw a need to minister to their young people from Jr. High to college aged and wanted to provide a quality event once a year where they could come together, worship, learn, and grow in their faith. A team of representatives from the participating churches was formed and Rise Youth Conference was born. The Rise Youth Conference exists for the sole purpose of carrying out the Great Commission as given in Matthew 28:18-20. And in order to do that we hope to accomplish 2 goals in every RYC event:

1. To reinforce the faith of the Christian youth’s in the Association and the surrounding areas by providing an event to educate, equip, and encourage them to live their lives for Christ sharing the Gospel with the people around them.

2. To provide solid Biblical teaching so that they will be able to adequately and knowledgeably defend their faith in Christ.

The Rise Youth Conference is a Free Will Baptist Youth Conference and is planned and run by Free Will Baptist churches. The teachings and doctrines expressed will fall in line with the beliefs of the Free Will Baptist denomination. For further information on what those beliefs are please visit nafwb.org/about/what-we-believe-2/. While RYC is a Free Will Baptist conference it is not exclusive to Free Will Baptists. The Kingdom of God is bigger than one denomination and we want to help grow and nurture faith in Jesus Christ whether you belong to the Free Will Baptist Denomination or not. This information is here to help you understand the aim of the conference and the beliefs of the individuals who are planning it.
